Yeah, I agree. But what really gets me is no one wants to proof-read what they wrote after the spell check. So stupid stuff like these never get corrected:
I had two much fun
The dog run down the street
Dad couldn't what to get home

Because it obviously irritates people like you that have nothing better to do than to worry about other peoples spelling ability. It is an obsesive / compulsive disorder! You need to focus on something more important in todays world.

Eye always dew a spell check, that wood bee embarrassing to mis spell something on hear! Butt ewe are rite, lots op typo's on here. LOL, sorry, couldnt resist!

For many people, the entire text requires to be changed on spell check. Perhaps they fear the entire meaning gets changed and not using the spell check.

most of the time i forget to use it. i mostly only use it if i do not know how to spell a word not for checking my spelling in case i accidentally misspelled something.

I believe they get there point across, you know this site is like kin-folk, so making a few mistakes as I send my brothers and sister my opinion is OK

2 reasons:
1) Its apparently 'cool' to talk like a uneducated member of the trailer trash class of America

Probably a contributory reason is that most spell checkers have incorrect databases which confuse my language (English) with American.
