Yes, laying on that arm probably cuts off the circulation. But I think you should ask your doctor this question because it's your left arm that hurts when you have a heart attack. Maybe you have some heart circulation problems.

when laying on arm it cuts curculation off arm that is why it falls to sleep

mine does it too, and if i raise my arm above my head for a short amount of time. I do have a mitral valve prolapse but I have never asked my dr. if its what causes it or not. maybe I should.

it's because you block its circulation in some way. even if you don't sleep on it, maybe in some other way, putting it in some kind of position or something.
