You should watch In the womb it comes on the discovery chanel once in a while. Its a very informative program that teahes you all the need to knows from conception to birth. Oh and they say that baby's start to dream even from before birth. They say that babies dream about the womb and the mothers voice and heart beat all the things that make them comfotable.

Nobody really knows for sure, but I can tell you that they can have bad dreams as well as good. My son is autistic, and he had night terrors from the first day home from the hospital, and was afraid of the dark. When my husband first stated that's what was wrong, I thought he was nuts! But we installed a dimmer switch and kept the light on just a little bit, and it helped, but didn't completely resolve them. I know now that it was due to sensory issues, that his brain was trying desperately to process life around him and it was causing his night terrors. I had never heard of a baby having these until he came along. He is 4 now, and no longer has them.

Think back on how you thought when you were a baby or a young child.. they have such big imagatiations, thats what they'd pretty much dream...

Babies dream about lights, shadows, faces, colors, angels, voices and shapes. Simple things like that.

Yes, they experience REM sleep A LOT OF IT, so they dream. Of what, who knows.

they probaly dream of their mother's heartbeat and the sounds of being in the womb. or maybe feeding time..
