I'm afraid there's no long term hope for Oakland to become Oakland again so long as Davis insists on meddling in the day to day operations. He's hopelessly stuck in the 60's in terms of his football philosophy. Keeps hoping for another Mad Bomber to come along and bring back the good old days. Completely oblivious to the reality of the zone defense closing that down. Any coach that doesn't reflect that idiocy will have a short tenure at Oakland.

Hey, I am an Oakland Raiders fan and we have some good talent. Moss, Sapp, Crockett, Asomugha, Gallery...all great players. Every team has it's ups and downs! We just haven't been clicking the past few years. We'll recover just like every other team in the NFL does! Besides if you watch the games, they tend to lose on bad play calling!

Money talks but you are right in that what a horrible gig. Davis has to step down or the Raiders will continue to roll around in the mud.
