Yes there is!!!!! However, they can only be purchased in a Galaxy far away :-(

There was, before the recent lightsaber amnesty and then everyone handed them in to the police. Except for those young punks Yoda, Luke, Darth, Ben and a few others, they kept hold of theirs.

No, not unless you count lasers, but while they can be used to cut things, we haven't yet found a way to make a light-beam end without hitting anything.

Yes, they are called plasma cutters. They are not as extravagant as Star Wars makes them... I think there are also ionic or laser cutters too, haven't checked.
