i have no recovery disk and cannot get a system restore

Windows will automatically turn system restore off once your hard disc space is full!
Try starting in safe mode, f8, and delete some programs.
Also depending on which motherboard you have, try booting to the BIOS, escape or delete, and select, restore defaults.
Failing that, beg a copy of Windows, and select, repair from the disc.

Restart it, when it comes on keep tapping F8 until the screen that gives you the option of starting in safe mode comes on. Start up in safe mode and you will be able to access system restore. Good luck.

Take it to computer repair shop. or buy windows software. and do it your self.

you need to tell us what exactly is the problem what is it or what is it NOT doing? Does the compute boot up? more info please
