Any AC/DC song is a great workout piece with a strong beat which is pretty consistent from song to song. Get the Greatest Hits Cd's.

Define heavy metal... which subcategory are you referring to? if just general... then i suggest the following (assuming that you want them fast):

Rhapsody:Ancient forest of elves
:rain of a thousand flame

Dragonforce: Soldiers of the wasteland
: cry to the brave

Turisas:battle metal

murderdolls:twist my sister
:slit my wrist..

I also notice you have another question on techno songs suggestions... and i'd like to answer that here...

DJ Rad:round and round
Dj Tiesto:Insomnia

those are the technos that i'll recommend...

a little extra suggestion never hurt right, so i'd like to recommend this one song.. it's fast, and its fun...

Weird Al Yankovich:that's your horoscope for today..

that's all... bye...

Anything from disturbed. The songs are heavy but short enough to enjoy at a furious pace!
