If your manager is a female, I would get her a nice jar candle. I think candles are great gifts because they are consumable and can be thrown out when finished or the jar can be used for something else when the candle burns out. If it's a man, a nice pen set. Hope that helps.

well, depends on the type of idustry you work in. If you work in an office, a silver clock, engraved with his name, or a business card holder for his desk. If you work in retail, a nice monographed pen, a tie. You gotta be sort of creative. Also good stuff for like an office, a breifcase.
