Anyone, and I mean anyone, who is not HAPPY, needs to learn the FACTS of what they actually did . They were speaking anti-American conversation - while praying to Allah - they seperated and sat at all corners of the plane, including the Emergency exits ! - they stood-up in unison - some asked for 'seat-belt' extenders', which are only necessary for larger people(and they weren't big) -
Sooooo looking at ALL the FACTS and knowing that we're currently under 'heightened alert', what would you 'expect' the flight crew to do ? Ignore all these oddities and RISK LIVES or 'call for help' ?

And 'seat-belt extenders', ha ha, that's got to be a dead give-away, that they were up to something . Did everyone already forget that Al Queda does 'dry runs', 'practice runs' of future attacks ?
They did several 'dry-runs' before pulling-off 9/11 !!

To anyone who is not informed about the 'seat-belt extenders' , I strongly suggest adding another news source to your viewing/listening . That has been part of the story from day one . I wonder why your news source didn't tell you that !!
Things that SHOULD make you go Hmmmmmmm.

I completely agree.. and yes I did read about the seat belt extenders... pulling 6 people off the plane is better than having 9-11 happen all over again.. I don't know why everyone made such a big deal about it.. I'm an American and if they took me off a plane, knowing what is going on.. Id probably be mad and aggravated.. but in the end I know it was for our safety...they were not the only Muslims to fly since 9-11, they were acting suspicious and should have been pulled off the plane-If people don't understand what we do is for our own safety.. and people don't realize we did learn from our earlier mistakes then that is their problem... You can't always be politically correct.. and that is what makes us an easy target.. we are more worried about other people then we are ourselves- and no you did not distort the facts...

No because they were clearly not terrorists.

Number 1. One was blind (great terrorist right there/sarcasm)

Number 2. They prayed in the terminal, fools, not in the plane.

Number 3. They criticized the Iraq war, that's what about 68% Americans do too.

Number 4. One only asked for a seat belt extender, wtf, why would one only ask for a seat belt extender, if they were going to hijack a plane

Number 5. "They wore terrorist clothing" First of all terrorists would wear the same outfits as normal Americans, to not stand out. Second of all, its not that odd for Imams to wear religious clothing in a plate, you see nuns traveling on planes wearing religious outfits.

As an American I see this as an example of American society going down hill. It proves that the present administrations rule by fear method is actually working, in the same way Hitler convinced
the Germans to discriminate against the Jews. I have brown skin, but I am not Muslim and when ever I board on a plane I always feel awkward because the people keep looking at me with suspicious looks.

As I read many of the Answers to this question they show that many Americans see Muslims the same way as Germans saw the Jews. I've read many texts by philosophers on the beginnings of genocide and racial cleansing; and this plane incident and many of the answers above me are match well with their texts. It also shocks me when I see the large of Americans that want Muslims to special ID cards made for them, similar to the Jews yellow star.

Hopefully most Americans will realize that they don't have to accept the fear that the government has imposed on us, so that such a evil will never occur.

Your opinion is uniformed, racist, and is supporting a Nazi America.

I am.
If those "imams' wanted to pray at that particular time, they should have asked for a different flight.
Anyone seeing those 6 guys stand up in unison and head to different sections of the plane as it was taking off would have been terrified. They are fortunate that all they got was put off the plane. I can envision some terrified passengers jumping them and beating the c*** out of them as well.
And no one stands during take off. No one. Even the flight attendants sit down because it's just too dangerous. I can see where it might have been a "dry run" for some future attack.
Imams, indeed.

Thanks, RochCop - I am booking my next flight on US AIrways!

I think that they were being cautious...which is good.

Because if they weren't cautious, and something DID happen (lord forbid) then EVERYONE would be saying "Why didn't they see the signs? We need more security at the airports!"

Anyone who says that's not true is a LIAR!

And it's not just racial profiling, because my mother-in-law is a white woman from Maine, and she's taking my daughters to Maine with her later this month. Because they have different last names than her, TSA has to do "extra" security measures with her and the girls (who are white as well).

Don't give me any more of the "victim" crap.

I never read about the seat belt extender request, if you can provide me with something showing that I will read it then comment. My understanding of the situation from several news articles was that before the flight took off they were praying, they do this fives times a day, then got on the plane and sat apart with the exception of one who needed assistance. I understand people being upset of course, but I think that removing them from the plane went overboard.

Ok I took the time to revisit this same old tale and saw about the seat belt extenders. I still dont think they should have removed from the plane. I wonder what it was like to live in Nazi Germany? Oh I guess I wouldnt have to wonder if I were a muslim I would just have to visit the US.

any one who will condemn this removal of suspicious Arabs from a plane is either stupid or worse, had I been on that plane I damned sure would do some complaining if they had not removed them, I also think no Arab should be allowed to fly any where on any plane at any time, I don't feel we need to lose any more American lives to these scum bags, Unless of course it is out of the country, I will even pay for a few to go,

If 6 priest did the same I would want them removed too. Who knows if they are really priests. Irrational behavior is usually exhibited Irrational people. I would like anyone acting irrationally removed from any flight in the world.

They probably got off easy....I can only imagine what would have happened to ANYONE acting that suspicious if Myself and a few old vets were on board...I take control of my own destiny, and do not require outside help from anyone, but any "military brother" is welcome to stand beside me at any time....

Well, I am telling you that the U.S must shut down issuing any type of visa in the terror related countries. No more immigrants from those countries.
