Three zones...
Inner most zone: black ...or dark in colour.....also called zone of incomplete combustion. here the hydrocarbons are not completely burnt.

medium zone: usually yellow in colour

outer most zone : blue in color....here combustion is complete due to ample availability of air........also called zone of complete combustion...
