uniform or common civil code means one legal system governing the secular matters of all religion . these matters are MARRIAGE, ADOPTION , GUARDIANSHIP, MAINTENANCE etc.

Problems in enforcing the common civil code:-
1. .. the so called religious leaders of every religion is against such code and they provoke their followers to protest against it as it interferes in their religion.
2... But the real reason is that such a code would undermine the authority of these religious leaders as law would be written and people can read it and determine if it is accepted in law or not.

ON demand of common civil code , person is labelled as RSS wallahs because Hindu laws are already codified but only Muslims laws need to be codified to prepare a basic blueprint of common code. as RSS is anti-Muslims , supporters of common civil code is termed as RSS wallahs. this is a wrong attitude . we should think of nation first then give preference to our religion

The people are ready for common civil code. But the vote bank politics are coming on its way. Vested interests created illusion among minorities that bringing common civil code is nothing but pushing Hindu law on them. It was totally wrong. It needs some changes even in Hindu laws.

It is the hight time to evolve common civil code, which is more needed for the minorities. The `communal' leadership under the grap of `secularism' fearing such a code would put an end to their selfist interests.
