Can you give me a simple definition for the metals?

Metals are:
1-Shiny: all metals are shiny or you can make them shiny by polishing
2-Strong: It is difficult to break them
3-Usually silvery in color: Most metals (except for a few like copper and gold) have a silvery color
4-Heavy (High Density): they don't float on the surface of water
5-with high thermal conductivity: they transfer heat easily- if we put our hands on a Metallic table and also a nonmetallic table held in a cold room, We immediately feel cold of the metallic table while the nonmetallic(wooden for example) table seems warmer
6-Electrical conductivity: it is dangerous to put something metallic in a plug.
7-Solid: except for mercury, all metals in room temperature are solid i.e. have a certain shape
8-and the most important: Metals are Beautiful!
