Watching my Mother get sick and pass away, that still brings me to tears. She was sick for many years, and I had to watch her suffer and go through her sickness, I got sick and almost passed on, too. So, it has been 2 1/2 years and still miss my Mother, so I just keep my thoughts in God and hope for the best. That is how I get through my really bad days. :)

Gosh, what a question! I guess I would have to say that the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with was the death of my father at 9 years old and the absence of my mother shortly after. I got through it with the help of my family(thank God for Grandma, Aunties and Uncles or else I would have been family-less except for my 5 year old sister). I moved into Grandmas house and for a while felt worthless, like I wasn't good enough to have a Mom and Dad like everyone else but at the same time I was so thankful to have my family there for me. I was confused and hurt and going into a dark depression...Good friends and the help of my family and one particular school counseler guided me to the light and snapped me out of the depression, THANK GOD! I'm good now though, 22 years old, living with my boyfriend of almost 4 years, love him with all my heart and hope to start a family of our own soon and know that neither of us will willingly leave our children because we both understand how it is to be without one or both parents. By the way, my fathers death was a suicide, probably wouldn't have taken it as hard if it was accidental.

Dealing with the death of one of my children.
After 6 months of crying not leaving the house and neglecting my other children because i just couldn't bare to live all of a sudden my mind clicked back to reality .Literally in one day something happened I was able to live life again and the depression went away.Time is what happened cause meds just made me an addict well not anymore but nothing was helping me everything seemed to make me worse but it's been 4 yrs now and i have 2 beautiful children that i started thinking about.Like how much they depend on me that as a parent i am there life.I brought them into this world and i just couldn't abandon them they needed me and that was enough to bring me back to reality.Oya we just 10 months ago had an attempt home invasion n ended up in a shelter because the police believed we where in danger because they had only caught 2 people out of a gang and they where afraid they where going to come after the kids n I for calling the police on them like who wouldn't but anyway we have had r home since September now and the kids r great n I am 2.Knock on wood everything is going well now n I hope it stays this way.God that felt great to tell someone well Q and A lol bye 4 now.

About 1 1/2 ago, my 7 year old became very ill. She was admitted into the local childrens hospital for testing and found out she was diabetic, after getting that under control, she would still have high fevers (103-105) back and forth to the hospital and finally found out that she was allergic to mold. The day care provider had mold behind her sink and she was getting sick from that! It was a long drawn out process, but we are better because of our experience! Broke from hospital bills, but atleast all healthy

finding out the guy of my desires and father of my baby became a pathological liar and dangerous abuser. Then he fooled the court ordered psychiatrist so properly that the psychiatrist informed the courts that i became mendacity about each and every of the damage he brought about me. imagine being seriously harmed and betrayed by someone and then being informed you imagined all of it and the wrongdoer receives off scot free. because of that, they gave him unsupervised visitation with my susceptible little boy. I lived in consistent worry of my baby being killed. such fairly some close calls, such fairly some bruises and cuts - continually defined away. purely a mom of a youngster with maximum cancers might want to understand the phobia. i began to imagine of him as such. My baby is in remission now (he purely calls and doesn't come anymore) even though it would want to flare up at any time. Or bypass away thoroughly. Or kill him tommorow. No thanks to understand.

An abusive husband and infertility.
Finally got away from the husband, but not w/out losing myself in the process.
Gave up the having children dreams and started looking for other things to identify myself by, as well as learning who I was after the abuse stopped. Everyday is new and enlightening, also got pg exactly 1 month after my divorce was final.

My mother. She is an abusive alcoholic and has been since I was born. It was difficult as a child, but now I am older, I try to understand why, and am conscious of not making the same mistakes with my own life..
