Is it just me or do you all think telemarketers are similar to spyware?

I mean they come unexpectedly during times when you are caught off guard, and are very annoying. the only difference is that a comp infected with lots of spyware is usually from going on a lot of nasty sites.

i agree with you, i hate telemarketers...the website below is a site you can sign up on and it takes you phone number out of telemarketers systems for five years....hope it helps
........it really works too, i signed up my phone number about a year ago....and think i've only gotten maybe two calls since then, where before it was 6-8 calls every night

telemarkers use the information which you give out knowingly or unknowingly, whenever u swipe your creedit card or signup for a email account you information is available to numberous organization and gets passed around for money. anyway point is telemarketers are not the same as spy warE!

You are correct on this one. They never call at a good time.
What really gets me is the call waiting and I'm on the phone talking and the phone keeps beeping.

I think they are annoying, but it is just their job.
