I live on an acre, so neighbors hearing my bed squeak would really be raising an eybrow. The bed we have now does not squeak, but I wish it did, because that might send a subliminal message to my frigid sexless wife. LOL
P.S.>>> if your neighbors think that and butt into your business like that, then it's time to move out somehwere with better walls, like a condo or an apartment complex with individual units. I lived in an apartment with paper walls where you could hear the girl (or guy) slurping while giving a BJ even... TMI.

I might not have kids, but I still have a squeaky bed that I jump up and down and I am in my 40's still feeling like a kid myself. LOL
I don't see my neighbors because of my work schedule so I don't know if they think I am weird, or not, I just like to have fun and enjoy life. :)

first of all i dont have kids yet
secondly i have had my bed since febuary and it has a solid base without legs so it would take alot of bouncing to make it squeak

No kids - just a really old bed, which I spend toooo much time in (ON MY OWN), so it has received its fair share of abuse.

I used to have an air mattress on the floor :-)) It NEVER sqeaked.
Now I have a conventional mattress and box springs :-))

At that factor, i'm so lost in hobby that i do no longer even pay attention it. enable the headboard bang against the wall, enable my head bang against the headboard...makes no distinction to me. this is all reliable!
