I don't have any but if I did, there would be sunshine on my shoulder and a banjo on my knee.

I have 4 right now. The word "Life" in Swahili (it's a language) with 2 red stars on my right wrist (I got it done when a good friend of mine committed suicide), a row of 5 black star outlines leading down my pubic bone, a sun in between my shoulder blades (it's going to get covered up with something else), and cat on my right ankle (I love cats). In 2 weeks I am getting my family's initials tattooed in a nice cursive font on the inside of my left arm, I'm getting a Celtic symbol on the back of my neck that represents the 4 elements of life, and I am getting the words "Ocean Spirit" tattooed in Spanish on the outside of my left ankle.

Nope, I have no tattoos. I don't want any because they are permanent and I change my mind a lot, lol. But, if I had to have one, I would get a "tramp stamp" lol and I would get a pretty butterfly, flowers, or something along those lines.
BUT
My sister has 2, a scorpion on her ankle because she is a Scorpio. Funny story about it though, she was getting a pedicure and some lady said, "I love your lobster!" She kept talking about it and my sister is like what are you talking about? She was like, your tattoo! LMAO, I find that hilarious. The other tattoo she has is a chain around her upper arm and it looked crappy at her wedding with her hair up and strapless dress.
My brother has so many, he gave himself one when he was like 18 with common known products and wrote his name (Andy), has has the grim reaper coming out of his skull on his arm, and much more.
They both want more tattoos and my brother in law disagrees with it.
I get piercings, only ears and belly button though.......I can take them out when I don't want them anymore. I don't like anything permanent.

i have 9 tats.
1. a tree frog on my L outer calf...he's hanging from a branch. he keeps me "hangin' in there."
2. the sacred 4 winds symbol on the inner side of my L wrist...it was tattooed during my coming out ceremony when i was a young girl "coming of age."
3. a teensy-tiny small heart on my L hand...got talked into that one by a friend, when i was 12. did it myself.
4. a pirate girl butterfly skull and crossbones on my L inner elbow.
my adorable tattoo artist said, "i made her cute and scary," cuz she has a pink bow on top of her skull.
5. a death moth skull on the back of my neck...just liked it.
6. a lakota turtle on the back of my R shoulder. it's to honor my mom, who's ndn name is winyan keya (turtle woman)
7. a lakota medicine wheel on the back of my L shoulder. in honor and pride of my ppl.
8. a 10" long x 6" wide tat on my back that i designed. two crossed eagle feathers with a red and blue alternate colored arch over it, and the words: mitakuye oyasin bent around the top of the arch...loosely translated it means, "we are all related" or "all my relations"
9. on my R deltoid, i have a large circle with a peace sign and american flag inside with the word "freedom" underneath. i got it done on 9/12, the day after 9/11occurred. my baby sister is a veteran from desert storm and desert shield. and her b-day is 9/12.
i have many more tats planned in the future, as i can afford them. sometimes my friends and family give me gifts of tattoos.

Don't have any. I have change so much in my like and dislikes as I grow older. I don't want to have any regrets about what I have permently designed on my skin. When I am in a mood for a tat I put on a tempory one. NO pain and gone in two weeks.

I love tattoos, bodyart. I have tattoos, they represent what I have been through in my life and the memories of my life. I will not get any more, I don't regret getting them because that would mean that I regret my life and I don't regret my life, I enjoy my life and the memories associated with my life. :)

Ive got 2 both of my own design....I like them but I doubt I will have any more. They werent done in youthful haste either...Late 20's early 30's. I think they can be quite lovely. I am so glad I created my own tho, I know no one else on the planet will have them.

I have one, thought about it a long time before I had it to make sure i wouldn't regret it, and I don't. What does it represent? Hopefully, a bit of who I am... (It's not "I love mum"!) [doesn't hurt that much either - as painful as a bee sting]
