If she doesn"t want to stay with him. SHe should move out or let him go...She needs to tell him why , so maybe he will get his act together,
You can file for divorce on grounds of irreconcilable differences after living 1 year apart... It then will be sent to court and the divorce can be granted on those grounds...The husband doesn not even have to be present...but he must be served with the papers....that is how it is here....

Well it sounds like she has grounds for unreasonable behaviour. You cannot maintain a relationship where one side is a constant passenger, as any good businessman will tell you. Continuing the marriage will only serve to make her more unhappy and quite reasonably, she cannot be expected to endure that. The matter needs closer examination but it seems she has the basis for a divorce.

If she isnt happy and doesnt see a light at the end of the tunnel, tell her to get out...she can file for divorce anytime, there are no limits
