I define philosophy as educated opinion based on research, experience, logic, and common sense.

Employment? Well, it's kind of like being an actor: lots of people do it, not many make a living at it.

Pretty much everyone is an amateur philosopher because we all have our viewpoints. A good many publish: they're called autobiographies.

Philosophy is the ability to think beyond reason and reason beyond thought. A teacher of literature would be most useful in this field.

You qualify as a Philosopher when you are able to raise more questions after the answer has already been established.

Philosophy is a Science... Meaning, it has its own study... Einstein was a philosopher... And he's genius, became very popular due to his achievements and contributions in the world of technology... I think you just become qualified as a philosopher when you start thinking about philosophically... ü

Philosophy can mean:

1) The pursuit of knowledge. The knowledge of the causes and laws of all things.

2) A love or pursuit of wisdom or a search for the underlying causes and principles of reality.

Attempting to explain the unexplainable, and sometimes questions that have already been answered. Posing questions, and asking why is what makes a philospher.
