Desperation: Like the young mother who doesn't have enough money to by food or clothes for her children. The little old lady who has to buy cat and dog food to eat because she does not have money to buy food. Desperate people will grasp at even the slightest glimmer of hope. Those or the ones the scammers pray on the most.

Greed: Then there is simple human greed; wanting to get rich quick. Their greed over rules their common sense.

Gullible: There are people out there who are gullible enough to believe every thing they read or see on the Internet and TV.

You must understand that sometimes that us as human beings are always finding the easy way out in life and short cuts after short cuts in winning the 'rat race'. So if some guy on the interent can promise that i mean someone who happens to be naive enough is bound to believe the fast pass to riches. Like the animal planet that is around us, there will always be predators and what makes them the predators because they noe there are definitely gonna be preys around.
