delay, Gulf War syndrom claims, delay addding of dependents on a disbaled vets claim, have a history of substandard care in the hospitals, its common to see a vet denied a prostetic limb while a another is allowed cosmetic surgery such as a boob job ( I saw that first hand at the hospital which I volunteer at!). Isn't it time that the VA system was overhauled and delays on claims by combat veterans eliminated? Do we not owe a debt to those who served?

The VA is worst than a one legged mule. I've been fighting the system 4 22 years, Because I broke my hips in my jump into Grenada, (cover up)

A boob job? Paid for by the VA system? I would be inclined to think it was for a valid medical reason and not implants unless it was for a soldier who lost her breast from cancer or in the war. As for prosthetic limbs? Yes. The VA should provide all wounded vets with whatever they need to rehabilitate themselves. Yes. We do owe a debt.

As with lots of government policy, the VA needs a major policy restoration. The men and women that served our country deserve to have the medical needs they combat due to service taken care of; we owe them at least that. I used to volunteer at a VA home in MN as a teenager and the men would tell me horror stories of what they would go through to get medical treatment, right now I could just cry remembering. It is a travesty of justice when veterans have to fight for medical assistance.

The VA dneis a whole lot of cliams or the hoops one must jump through are so daunting, one may never be able to prove anything.

The VA needs a serious overhaul, but that won;t happen anytime soon

you really are a dip. what you're saying here is a lie. i know several people who have and are receiving agent orange benefits...including my brother. i also know some people who claim to have gulf war syndrome. there's no such thing. possibly they have post traumatic stress disorder, but they would have had the same symptoms if the war had been on lake michigan.
