I haven't kept track of my period cycle. I do know that my last period ended right before halloween. So around the 27th of October. So I was expecting it to start sometime this week. However I took the morning after pill for the first time 9 hours after sex(which he did not come in me) and somehow I feel as though my period is being delayed slightly although I have been getting cramps this week. It has now been 7 days since sex and I have taken a pregnancy test several times and it shows that I am negative.

What is the deal? Do you think the MAP has delayed it slightly?

I know for a fact worry of pregnancy can delay your period.

The morning after pill really is very strong and does a person no good. It probably has messed up your cycle. But if your period ended around Halloween then you should have had your period on 20th Nov. It is 21 days from end of period or 28 from day one of period. It seems that you are late anyway regardless of the sex.
I am sure it will arrive soon but if not it is best to get it checked out.

From what I understand, the morning after pill works different for different people and can either make it come early or delay it slightly, but not much.
