NOW, we (American's) are graded for our security risk. Phone calls, cell phone, emails, credit card purchases, what we eat on a flight..they the government is watching. What the hell have we come to. I'm a conservative and I have to admit the liberals have been in front on this one.Even Rush Limbaugh on Friday was offering his outrage to what the Federal government is doing. I urge every American to make PRIVACY a issue with our politicans...to ask where they stand on PRIVACY..

Is anyone outraged like me???

It's not only the Liberals, look at the Dems & Rep. The larger they get the more they want and take. Why do they get away with this?, because we the 'sheeple' like being lead to the slaughter. Who puts then into office? Who thinks they are doing the 'will of the people'? Who cares if the illegals come across the borders. Who's concerned about the cost related to allowing free service to illegal. Why bother anymore, give it ALL away, who flipping care.
Was it not Thomas Jefferson that stated 'revolution is good'! To raise up against our government, when they do wrong. Not these days. Why because they have the power, not the people.
We pay taxes to support the government and get screwed day after day.
Heaven forbid we don't pay the government. Though the Sixteen Amendment was never radified
What was the original concept of the 'Federal Government', to protect it's citizens. Now to regulate the hell out of us. The states were the power and the federalist were the subservant struture.

I'm pissed to unfortunately we are not as free as we are lead to believe. As sad and true as that it look at this , you go to the grocery store and purchase things in order to get the cheaper price you swipe a card that records what u buy. Now that being said some will say oh ur earning cheaper gas what ever the stores promo is, bull! Look at the Nike Apple walking calculator, they said Friday on the news it is suppose to be to tell you how far u have walked ,ppl can track you and ur every move. Hey we thought it was a good idea to micro chip our pets what do you think our Government wants to do to us? get rid of SS#'s and just micro us, now stuff is done by retina scan finger print scan its crap!!!!!! Glad i live here but our government needs to be honest.....(somewhere in TX a village is missing it's idiot)

I know how you feel. Though I have nothing to hide, Iam disturbed that the government can tell what I'm doing, how I'm doing it, and when. I am most certainly NOT a "terrorist" so I don't think they should be able to see my phone calls, emails, credit card purchases, or anything that's my business and my business alone.

Yes, I'm furious about it. I wish that the current administration has some respect for the Fourth Ammendment. If only Republicans cared for the other 9 ammendments as they do the 2nd, it might be amazing to see what our country would be like today. Our Bill of Rights wouldn't be treated as toilet paper to say the least.

I am outraged. It has nothing to do with that "if you have nothing to hide" line of reasoning, but more of "what are they looking for?"

You know that if we flipped the tables on them and started invading the private lives of politicians, there would be an attitude shift about it in a New York minute.

Of course the only people on here who aren't upset about our lose of privacy are the ignorant, pathetic conservatives who believe that they can skate by everyone else using their fear tactics and new-age Nazism to make it clear who the "bad guys" are. Try looking in a mirror if you want to find the bad guys. Conservatives are Hitler's missing testicle..

I agree the government is to involved in some personal issues but on our national security....What is more important.... If your not doing anything wrong ....I would rather the gov listen to my phone calls, See my body at airports than see the terrorist get by with one more incident like 9-11.If the people are not ganna let them do whatever they got to do to keep us safe then don`t be the first to BI-CH when your momma or kids get blown away by a terrorist because the government didn`t do their job . WE HAVE to make it as hard as possible for them to get to us ...And theres some things you might have to do for this iisue that you don`t like but THAT`S LIFE

Not outraged at all....

But I am wondering, if we don't use every method at our disposal to try to find the bad guys out there (make no mistake, the little box-cutter carrying weasels are out there).

What will we use?

Do you advocate handing out "Magic 8-Balls" or "Tarot Decks" to the TSA security screeners?

My money is on the 8-Ball.... its faster so people wont have to be bothered with stopping while the screeners look for bombs and knives and such.

I know..... we'll just issue parachutes to all passengers so they can escape the next 9-11 hijacking attempt.

No credit cards, prepaid cellular,no air travel. I am out spoken in my views and always will be.I vote for those I think will serve our country best and live my life. You should worry more about "on star" in your car.We as a population buy the products that are used against us.Quit selling your "privacy" and you will have more.

I'm with you. This government has shown us how fragile democracy truly is. The threat to freedom comes from within as well as without. It comes from the right wing ideologues who believe they always know what is best for the rest of us, whether we like it or not.
