you could join the Despair Faction.

with DF membership you have access to a special forum on the Official AFI/DF board called "Ask AFI" where you can ask them questions and they will answer.

DF membership also makes you eligible for special meet & greets before shows.

(there is a $30-40 fee, but it is lifetime membership so its a very good deal, and you get all these cool items with the membership)

EDIT: i was just reading on the AFI board that you have a much
better chance of getting a response if you do "Ask AFI"
than when you mail them stuff.
