I'm helping plan a dance, and the only problem is the location we chose doesn't have a dance floor. I was wondering about how much it costs (per square yard, or foot, or whatever) to rent one of the removable dance floors. Thanks!

It depends on the size of the floor you want, also, on quality. I know a little bit about ballrom competition floors. Their size is at least 60x36 feet. Older floor might be slightly cheaper to rent. Also, for how many days you will keep it , aslo, how many worker will you hire to install it. If you get 3-4 volunteers to help you, you'll still need someone who know how to put the seams together. You are probably looking at a number around $2000. I recommend you contact your local USA Dance chapter and ask if they can help you out. They might own a floor that you can borrow/rent or they can point you in te right direction. www.usabda.com

The fun benefits of hiring an LED dance floor for your party or event are many. Guests will be impressed when they see the special floor lighting for your social gathering. These lights add a wonderful disco atmosphere that elevates the mood of the gathering. The atmosphere can be setup with either subtle or exotic effects that add to the overall decor. Some floor models offer static lights while many others move around the floor. The speed and pacing of the lights can be adjusted for any type of music. There are many advantages to these kinds of lights and they are a great choice for dancing events.

i know that a petty small one, like maybe a square yard, is about 50-90 dollars to buy. but it depends on what its made of....

it might even be a good idea to just buy them, it might be cheaper.
