If they didn't say anything about color, you can wear just about anything.
A nice evening gown or tea length. The more sparkling the better. Accent your best features. Have your hair and makeup done professionally.

I would recommend a formal dress... like something you'd wear to the prom. A woman's business suit would not be appropriate.

You should wear an elegant black dress, with all the accessories, heels, elegant necklace, earrings,handbag, and perhaps evening gloves

Black slacks, or a tight lacey, elegant black dress.
