Impossible. There is no operating system on earth that has no vulnerability, therefore if you have a vuln, someone/thing can always exploit it. The average relationship is 1 vulnerability for every 20 lines of code. And with the Windows millions of lines of code, the possibilities are endless.

Tell me what platform Microsoft has ever made that was not full of holes and require loads of patches to fix the security leaks.
The new Microsoft Vista that is on sale to the public is suppose to be really tight on security. The experts have found all it really does is use excessive resources that will cause most people to have to either upgrade the pc or purchase a new computer.
Even the MAC, has flaws in them now that criminals are taking advantage of.

Microsoft certainly attempts to stop viruses, but just like "real" viruses, computer viruses mutate. No sooner than a "fix" is in place, some mis-guided, otherwise intelligent person with internet access will find a way to attack.
I suspect that virus scans will continue forever. And, just like breakfast, they will be the most important "meal" of the day.

No they are not. Unfortunately, Microsoft will not be able to release "MacOS, Windows Edition" due to licensing restrictions.

Even if they DO manage to make one, it will get riddled with probably computer 'bacteria' in two days. You can never prevent these nasty things.
