Dear, all you have to do is that check if you listen any music when you start your system just to check that your system has Sound drivers and then check at the back of CPU/cabinet and you will find 3 jacks(three colour small ports/holes) 1 balck, green and pink. Now see what is the colour of your mic pins and insert the same pin in same colour pocket and then check your mic and it will work and if still got problem you need to update your sound drivers and then restart your system and it will work.

First check that it has been properly connected to your sound card - look at the back of your PC, the mic should be connected to the red jack (hole) or has this picture of a mic.
Then when you are in Windows, you can try it via Yahoo Messenger chat or MSN messenger chat

You have to plug it into the pink microphone port on the back of your computer.. The microphone port is always beside the green speakers port.

You have to plug it in to your sound card in the back of the computer. It is the same thing that your speakers come out of.

Ugh, Plug the cord into the pink colored hole on the back of you computer. You might have to unmute the microphone, SPEAK INTO IT!!!!!
