If God is the almighty then why so much suffering? I do not want to here cuz he is testing our faith. If he was doing his job he would not need to test our faith, We would all beleive...

Yes, he is real.

He has given us the choice to believe in him.

He has given free will.

Therefore he tests us --- if we will do his will.

And if we will choose Jesus Christ as our Savior.

No, even if you believe in God, he isn't part of reality. He is superreal, beyond reality, if he exists.

Why Suffering? Because he gave us the gift of free will. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to hurt each other.

The Bible is very clear about testing. There is the story of Lot and the Temptations of Jesus.

Some believe the more spiritual evolved a person is, the more challenges he will face, for example Ghandi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Seriously though, look how God tested his "only" son.

I'm not a Christian, but the logic of God and his will as displayed by the laws of the universe isn't something I expect to understand fully.

I like your reasoning, and I agree: If an all-powerful and benevolent god exists, then the world should be different. But since evil and suffering are plain to see, and since there's no evidence pointing to the existence of any god or gods, I conclude that there is no such entity.

First define what is real, if its what can be reached by your 5 senses, then god is not real, but if you work your brain, you will find that everything he created is a proof of his existence, ending with our brains, that have the choice to accept or deny him which explains exactly the philosophy of one choosing our own way of good and bad, and about the sufferings, we made it to ourselves, and we can choose to suffer or heal ourselves, however, life is not meant to be a place of comfort, its a place of making efforts, in all aspects of life, ending with one's own survival, if one can reach god's love then one will have self peace.

I think I agree with you. Like is he were "here" he would have saved the day on 9/11. Or if someone were to drop of a building would he be there to save them?

If we had free will, then why would there be sin? Why would it be mandatory to love and believe in God to go to heaven? Why would people be condemned for doing what they're SUPPOSED TO. If there is a God, "he" is very confused and callous to the people "he" supposedly created.

suffering is part of free will....you cant know pleasure without pain, joy without sorrow..its part of a balanced life. yes god is real...look around you and see the order and balance and creation. this cant be by chance and if you know where to look, the world is quite beautiful.

god is real however we have a free will and he will not over ride it.. the suffering in the world is from man, not god.
