You should be told all this by your instructor but I'll tell you what I remember!

You'll be asked 2 questons to start with, one Tell Me and one Show Me both regarding checking the car e.g. How do you check the brake lights are functional? or Show me how you would check the water levels in the windsreen washer reseviour.

Then you drive where you are told by the instuctor. You will be watched for minor faults during general driving (I think you are allowed up to about 17 minor faults, but don't quote me on that I'm not entirely sure). A minor fault will be something like not looking in the left side mirror when pulling in after over-taking, or going slightly over speed limit.

You will also be required to do an emergancy stop, and two out of three manuvers. Failure on one of these is a major fault (or any other very unsafe driving is also a major fault). The three manuvers are - turn in the road, parallel parking, and reverse around the corner.

If you commit a major fault you have failed, but you can usually carry on so as to get more experience at driving on a test.

I passed mine after 4 attempts, and I've been driving for about 3 years now ans I've heard many people say once you pass your test then you learn to drive - this is so true. The test and the way you are meant to drive is so unnatural. All I can advise is try to stay relaxed, you can only do your best on the day, and you can always try again!

Please do no longer basically 'look' for pedestrians. maximum pedestrians are killed (specific killed) by vehicles turning ideal as a results of fact they 'did no longer see him/her.' An vehicle averages 4000 lbs. As i'm useful you studied in physics, it takes extra power to end a extra super merchandise. in accordance to the 1st web site I observed, it takes approximately 3 hundred ft to end a motorcar from speed.
