It slowly started entering society as more and more sythetic chemicals were introduced into our diets and our environments. It is a defect that is brought on by unhealthy environments. There may have been homosexual people years ago but a very small percentage. That percentage has increased enormously due in part to estrogen being in many of our food products.

Homosexuality was never invented. It existed since the beginning of time. It's similar to left-handedness, only no one is trying to find a cure for THAT! People are different, and as long as these differences aren't hurting anyone, there shouldn't be a problem. The last thing this world needs is more children, since there are more than enough rotting away in orphanages throughout the world. It's funny you call gay sex a non-contributing activity, since oral sex falls in the same catagory (and straight people enjoy oral and anal sex just as much as gay people do!)

That's an excellent question. When we isolate the homosexuality-inducing genes, we can perform haplotype tree analysis to discover approximately when homosexuality first appeared.

Though, if you consider vertebrate mammals as "missing links" in our evolutionary lineage, then yes, many do bum-hole each other.

Homosexuality has always been here even before humans were. But the word "homosexuality" only came into existence in the 1800's.

Don't be so sure. Have you seen renditions of what scientist believe Mrs. Cavewoman looked like? The first time she claimed she had a headache, and the caveman buddies went off to capture dinner, well, it was cold, no television and one thing lead to another. Anything can happen when two people share a yak dinner.

Given that hundreds of animal species have exclusively homosexual members (see Dr. Bruce Bagemihl, "Biological Exuberance" from St. Martin's Press) then yes, I rather suspect they did. Homosexuality has existed as long as humanity has.

Homosexuality was not "invented"but is a trait of nature.

Many species of creatures engage in homosexual acts., man does not have a monopoly on it!

It's shocking to me how often bigots fixate on one sexual act. Anal sex is one thing SOME gay men engage in, as well as a smaller percentage of lesbians.

But, if all the porn web sites, magazines, and DVDs can be believed it is something straight men are quite fond of with women.

Is it that their obsession with heterosexual anal sex makes them question their own orientation and they need to lash out to prove to themselves and others how straight they are?

You don't make a bit of sense. If being straight is the neutral quality, the "right" thing to be.. Then WHY would anyone stray from it? Your question basically calls all gay people who've ever existed liars and deviants. I don't like it, and I especially don't like you.

I'd believe it came about around the time of endotherms.

Birds and mammals have homosexual populations.
