Last night I dreamed about my really good guy friend. It was all very clear. At first I walked in his house and up to a room. He was laying down with a girl and said to me, "Go up wait up stairs." I then threw an item of make-up at him and went up stairs.

He came up there about 15 minutes later while I was talking to a friend. He told everyone to leave. He then laid on the bed with me and asked what was wrong. I just turned my head. Marcus then said, "Do you love me?" I was like, "huh." His reply was, "I extremely love you."

I then woke up.

Does this dream have any reasoning?

I think it means that you have a confession to make, not neccessarily to Marcus, but to yourself

Interpreting dreams correctly is a lot harder than books on this topic make it appear.
There are some symbols that are common to people who grew up in the same culture. That's the vague part.
Then there is a deeply personal side to dreams - after all they were "manufactured" by YOUR brain, not Hollywood...
And that part is even more difficult.
What I find useful is to just play around with the dream like this:
Write down all (!) the details you remember. Go from face value (in your case: do I feel attracted to my friend? do I suspect that he wants to be more than just a friend?) to the layers beneath. That could be the throwing of the make-up article? What is make up to you? What is it to our culture? Think youth, beauty, attractiveness, etc. Why do you throw it at him?
Play around with it like that, it's usually worth it. There is never one *correct* interpretation. But dreams can help you to find out about yourself. They lay bare your sub-conscious motivation and hopes and troubles.

You like him, it's not a bad thing you've just got to figure out how much and go from there. Lots of people dream of their friends in those kinds of situations, it doesn't mean you have to break up your relationships. Sometimes it just means you care about them alot more than you realized.
