I have never bought anything that I have no intention of wearing. I have sometimes bought something that I've had second thoughts of by the time I would normally come to wear it, and have ended up returning it for a different colour or style. And I have bought a dress for a formal occasion and only worn it a couple of times in years. But I have NEVER kept a piece of clothing and not worn it.

Often women who like shopping are doing it for a quick fix, a short ego boost. Buying garments they don't really need, and know they are unlikely to wear. It gets put in the back of the wardrobe and forgetton about.
E.g I bought a pair of city shorts last year, when they were in fashion, only to find i had nowhere to wear them too. I was unconfident to wear them as an everyday dress. Its only now i have pulled them out, and will wear them. As i am far more comfortable in wearing them (back in fashion) and i havent got any money to go out and spend getting new ones.

some pieces of clothing are just like art...very beautiful. can you imagine wearing a picasso? nooo...but obviously because it's so perfect we just have to have it but at the same time i would die if it got dirty or broken or whatever. it's just something we do. another reason is because we already have too many clothes so the new ones just get stuffed up the top of the cupboard and we forget about them...it's all about impulse buying! the economy benefits soo much from it so relax.

Ok sometimes I buy clothing from thrift stores and get a clothing voucher from the Salvation Army every 3 months for 2 outfits. I sometimes realize I should have tried it on and it dosen't fit right or it doesen't look as good as I thought it did when I tried it on the store.

I think it's because sometimes we buy something and really like it at the time, but this feeling fades after a while or after buying the piece of clothing, we realize it's not our correct size or doesn't fit as well as it should or is not flattering on our body.

I don't get how people can buy stuff and not wear it! My mother in law does that, she always has tons of stuff she's never worn, so she ends up giving it all to me.
Whatever I personally buy, I wear it until it has holes or it has shrunk and I can't wear it anymore. I have shoes that are 9 years old still going strong! lol

It truly is a phenomanon. I know of a woman that will buy clothing and take it home and end up returning 95% of it. She has plenty of money it is just a short circuit in the brain.

the reason why women human beings purchase issues and then go back them is we are able to. If we couldn't, then; your international might want to get so a lot extra complicated. Be satisfied that the girls human beings you understand have this determination. women human beings are all about selections. we are able to p.c.. and decide very nearly something.

My mother does that.
Its a strange sense of urgency for "just for me" things. Shopping seems to be the stress reliever when it has been all about the family any other time.

I'm not sure ether but I think it's because women are jealous people sometimes, and they don't want other people to buy it.
