I see tendency in the developed countries to let wifes of males that are not so kind or not so polite, to ask for divorce and leave such husbands. so, by leaving such husbands, they abandon all love they once had. in the end we find a world where too many people abandon too many others and too many promises are broken.

it's not considered abandoning love, but self preservation. people (regardless of gender) should be treated with respect.

We all as humans deserve love and to be treated well by our loved ones, especially those we chose for marriage. That goes both ways, when it comes to being the man or the woman. I know in other countries woman are considered as being less important but we aren't. Without women the world wouldn't exist in the same way that it wouldn't without men. Try creating life between two men or two women, it just won't happen. We all are equal in being needed and desired and should be seen equal. There is no need to dominate one another because we are both needed to keep civilization going, so we both are equal no matter what our job or home life is.
Yes there is a lot of abandonment in marriages in the world and some are for good reason and others not. We can't control what our mate does but be the best partner we can and go from there.

Because no human being should be beaten up. If the husband really loved them they would not be beating them up and treating them like they are second class citizens.
The promises of love honor and cherish! When a husband Raising the hand to his wife where is the love honor and cherish. You don't go pouncing on thing that you cherish. So maybe if the husband didn't go and break the promise first we would not be in such an abandon world.

Its mostly feminist movement over flow. They never made sense. They were looking for some sort of perfect world.
Nobody treats everyone perfect all of the time. Relationships are full of compromises but if the guy leaves the cap off the toothpaste tube (actual divorce case she considered it mental cruelty) the wife is gets a lawyer.
Women are the heart of a family when it is removed the balance of heart and head is compromised. Now I am not in favor of hanging around if there is real physical danger, that would be stupid, you need to remove yourself and the kids from that sort of relationship but I am talking about little things.
My husband came from a broken home and 3 marriages each withhis parents, he hated all of it, it should never have been. But in our relationship we have learned to compromise all the time and that is okay, you learn patience and humility. Something that the whole world needs to learn again.

Yes, women can ask for a divorce if they are not loved, honored and cherished, as the marriage vows state. When these tenets are broken it becomes impossible to follow through with "for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, til death do us part".......
When love, honor, and cherish, which is the foundation of the marriage has been broken, then Love has died.
These wives are not abandoning their love, they are seeking it. I do agree too many people are willing to give up too easily. Too many promises are broken. Too many people cling to ideals instead of living with reality.
Then again, what is the world without ideals?

Is it really love when someone is mistreating you? Being with someone who is unkind can really take a toll on a person after a while. It lowers self-esteem and brings on depression. A wife could start to hate an unkind, impolite husband. If a wife walks away from this kind of life GOOD JOB!

Yes in develop countries there are a wider opportunities and legal aid to assist wifes for ill treatment from their husband......
Unlike undeveloped countries where if your husband beat u till u can't walk there's no way u could leave your husband because society will condemn u not him even though he did wat he did to u....for example Indian where husband have all the say that is for the lower class in society and where girl children are consider expensive and boy children are consider a blessing.....
We should be thankful that we can be able to walk out of a marriage that is a disaster and not have to stay their because we have no other choice.....But u have to remember we are only human beings and entitle to mistakes.....
This is one point that differiate developed and undevelop countries...

Alex, you're looking at it from only one side. What would you think if you were a woman who is constantly mistreated by your husband? Embarrassed before your friends. Treated like property. Worked like a slave.
Do you think it would be better to spend the rest of your ( probably ) short life with this "animal", or to look for better ?
You might ask, why do men of some backward countries treat their women in a fashion that they would never tolerate if they were female.
In spite of the beliefs of some cultures, men are not superior to women. Women are not superior to men. Physical differences are for the benefit of nature - - not superiority.
