I am looking at the new Intel Core 2 Duo, but Intel says the XEON is a server processor instead. Also, my eyes couldn't help staring at the AMD dual-core Opteron. Can I really use the Core 2 Duo as a server processor? Why does Intel tell me that its a "desktop" processor?
I'm looking to have two processors by the way.
