You have to contact the registry office from where you were born. They will provide you with a duplicate. it costs between £7-8.

You need to contact your birth state's Vital Records Office.
Look them up, they should be in the government section of the phonebook.
There will be a fee involved with getting a copy, just so you know.

I just got 2 copies... If you live where you were born you can go to the health department and get one in like 5 minuts (make sure you have ID) .If you were born in another state call the court house in that state capital and they will connect you with their Vital Records. you`ll have to send them some info and a check. you`ll have to wait for your check to clear and will get it in a couple weeks. You can also do this on-line punch in get birth certificate in your search bar and you`ll figure out the rest it`s easy.. GOOD LUCK
