afaik, you achieve the shadow effect by not shaving & not the other way around. you get it the day after your last shave.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

umm... Shave... and then wait... eventually, you'll have a shadow... ever heard of a 5 o'clock shadow?... There's nothing to achieve.

Use an electric shaver it is not as close as a wet shave. Plus you need dark hair.
