you need to download free the software: avi to amv converter...
just search on web under... ''avi to amv converter''...
it is a 2 stage process, first you convert the media files to AVI** then to AMV
**AVI= used by divx player...
do a web search :mp4 format/convert and see what comes up .

this can covert any type of file to amv and it also has an amv player .

try puttin MP4 movies on and if not you can use either, Windows Media Player 11 (the new one, go to http://www.microsoft.com), quicktime player ( go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html)
