Not sure about the temperature bit - perhaps you have a real fault in the pump in the shower itself so it won't deliver hot water.
But, if it's pressure alone that's the problem it's worth soaking the shower head in vinegar to remove limescale.

first make sure to check other areas in the house for delivery of hot water. check your kitchen sink, if the water temp is normal then it is not your water heater. take shower head off and see if the temperature and pressure is normal. if not clean the shower head with crl. if it not, then u need a new mixer tap on you shower. the delivery of water to your home is done by pressure there is no hydro involved except for the water heater, and if you have a pump for a well if in doubt call a plumber

you also might take the shower head off and see if water flows then,, if so get some CLR and soak the shower head to get rid of the calcium deposits,,, and if its Just in the shower,,, Oh yea,,, the rubber "O" ring in the valves when you open and close for the water,, the hot side "O" ring may have come apart and plugged up the hot side, and so I would start with the shower head first ck it,, then the hot water side of the faucet, Also,, at the home depot, they have books for do it yourselfers that can help you see what to do

clean out the shower head for the pressure problem. the temp. problem is more than likely the cartridge inside the valve if you have hot water to the rest of the house and yes you can fix it yourself if you know how to turn off the water to your house, disassemble the valve, replace the cartridge, reassemble , turn water back on and test

Since you've lost both heat and pressure, it's probably a fuse or circuit breaker. Check your main consumer unit (fuse box). It's possible that the shower unit was wired through a fused spur box that will be on the wall outside the bathroom. This takes a 13 amp fuse like the one you have in a plug.

Sounds like an electrician/plumber's job.
Don't risk trying to fix it yourself - water and leccy combined make for a damp fry up.

Make sure nothing is clogging the showerhead although I doubt anything that big would be in the pipes. It would cause low pressure.
