The 2 best teams will be in the game.. Ohio State and Florida.. Floridas going and deserve to and here's why.....:
Offensive TD's Scored:
FLORIDA - 44
USC - 43
Michigan - 41
Average Yards per Play:
FLORIDA - 6.51
USC - 5.95
Michigan - 5.64
Top 25 Defenses Faced:
FLORIDA - 5
Michigan - 3
USC - ZERO
Losses to UNRANKED teams:
USC - 1
FLORIDA - ZERO
Michigan - ZERO
Losses to Top 15 teams:
FLORIDA - 1
Michigan - 1
USC - ZERO
So it must be a problem with our defense, you say?
Scoring Defenses:
FLORIDA is #4 Nationally (allowing 12.3 per game)
Michigan is #9 Nationally (allowing 14.6 per game)
USC is #13 Nationally (allowing 15.1 per game)
SO...
The University of Florida has scored more Touchdowns than USC or Michigan... gained more yards per play than USC or Michigan... all against much tougher defenses than those faced by USC or Michigan... and has a BETTER DEFENSE than USC or Michigan...
When did it become more important to earn these "style points" (buzz word for what a team that the media wants to put #2 has and a team that the media doesn't want to put #2 does not have, whatever it might be) than to play and beat good competition?

Not sure if they should be # 2 or not. I guess the computers will tell us.
Also...a comment. I hate the Wolverines with a passion (not a Buckeye fan either..or Florida...etc.etc.). But as an impartial fan...I am curious as to why everyone keeps saying that Michigan had their chance and blew it? Using that logic...let's say the Bears and Pats reach the SB...should the Bears NOT be allowed to play since they already lost to the Pats once this season or should we select a team that has not lost to the Pats yet?
The Buckyeye/Michigan game earlier was a regular season game that Ohio State had homefield advantage in. IMO...this is a totally different scenario. While I could not care less who the Buckeyes play for the National Championship...the fact that they already beat Michigan once should have no bearing on it whatsoever. It does not change the fact that Michigan could still be truly the # 2 team in the country.

I'm just wondering why everybody believe that Michigan is a better team? How many ranked teams have they beaten? Did you mean Notre Dame? I'm not a Gators fan either, I'm just seeing the facts. Besides, Michigan had their chance and they blew it. Also, any team that plays Ohio State can beat Ohio State, anything is possible here. Look what happened at the Rose Bowl!!...Great teams can have a bad day and Underdoggies can outscore that great team.
Adding, how do you know which team is better than the other? As far as I know, this year (at least) Florida and Michigan haven't played each other and they eventually aren't going to. So, there's no way to know whether Michigan can beat Florida or vice-versa.
Now, let's wait and see what's the conclusion tomorrow night. Just enjoy tomorrow's NFL games. Lot of good games and NBA too.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!! They finished the regular season 12-1. They played the toughest schedule in the country. They are the SEC champions. They lost to Auburn on a fluke play or they would be 13-0. Michigan has won NOTHING!! They are not the big 10 champions, Ohio State is! Florida should and MUST be number 2 and given a chance to play Ohio State for the national championship.

flordia really should be #2. i mean they had one of the hardest schedules this season and they have only one loss. Michigan also has only one loss but they haven't even play all of the games that Florida has. Florida in all aspects really does deserve to play at the title game. But a lot of the dumb voters for the BCS will still vote Michigan because their only loss was to the amazing Buckeyes.
in all seriousiness i don't want to see or think that Michigan deserves another shot at playing the Buckeyes in the title game. i think that it is time for the better team to come in and that is obviously Florida.

Michigan had a chance, now its Florida turn. Why do everybody praise Michigan, they ******* already lost to Ohio State so give it up. You don't get a second chance in football. Yea, lets see The best team in the SEC play the Best Team in the Big Ten, since no one looks up to the SEC, when it is the hardest conference in collegiate football.

Yes florida should play my Buckeyes for the national championship.
If the same morons who can't see that we NEED a playoff system in Div.1-A college football NOW, should happen to vote meeeechigan into play The Ohio State Buckeyes for the national championship, then that's alright too.
This time Ohio State will not make simple-minded mistakes that kept meeeechigan in the last game. The Buckeyes will DESTROY wooolveweenies this time!!!!!!!
GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

They need to have Michigan play Florida to see who gets OSU. I think that a Michigan-OSU matchup would be close. A Florida-OSU matchup is a butt-thumping courtesy of the scarlet and gray.

Yes they should be. They won their conference. How do we know that Mich is the better team. Have they played FL? as much as i would like to see a rematch, i do think that fl does deserve at least a chance. MIch had the chance and they blew it when they last played OSU.
