Nope ! I live in the mountain,s of north Georgia at the dead end of a dirt road and I like to leave my window,s open at night when the weather is OK ,when someone pull,s up in my drive they are coming to see me or they are lost.and the dog,s let me Know when there,s anything around Even if it,s a raccoon or deer.

Where I live, we don't even have a key to the front door, it is never locked. It is a wonderful feeling to know that we don't suffer the paranoia that most city and suburban folks do. We even left the door wide open for over 2 weeks while we were on vacation, no problem. Freedom includes not being scared of your neighbors. If you can't trust them, move, America (if you live here) is a very big place. You don't have to live in fear unless you choose to.

I'm paranoid so i always lock em all and close all my blinds and stuff and if i don't or think i forgot one then i cant sleep!

Oh, I've been known to leave my keys in the front door..more than once...but I try to stay safe...used to never lock them

yes - we have crackheads living in the neighborhood , last year they stold our snow shovel from the side of the house during the day , so imagine what they would do in the dark of night

always when my flatmate isn't home, i always lock everything up. But when he is home, i don't care cause he will
1. Protect me
2. Get attacked first cause he is nearest to the balcony.

I live in South Africa.... My safety-doors have safety-doors.... They are currently installing a panic room in my bathroom... I sleep in bulletproof pj's..... Yes, i ALWAYS lock up
