What I was trying to ask was: Are Filipino girls viewed as "bad" or "not nice" by their fellow countrymen because they are 1/2 American... Noone can choose what their heritage is!!

Quite the opposite. Philippine girls that are part American have what they call here metisto skin tone which is highly desirable here. Blue eyed Philippinas are rare, but they are knock out gorgeous.

I think its a bad generalization. It doesnt mean that one or two Filipino Americans who look down on their home country creates a general rule.

It depends on the person I think. If she's snotty and arrogant because of her American heritage then most likely people won't like her.

I think it depends on if they are from a proper home or not. If the father is here working, or they grew up in the US, I think it is a normal situation.
If they are the child of a "single mother" from Angeles or Olongapo it may be a bit different!
