Looks like it is a persons name. If not, like the other answerer said, it's the sound of a "drum-roll" at the end of a joke or punch-line to signify the end of the thought or event.

I was riding in a taxicab this morning and there was a female dispatcher on the two-way radio. She was dispatching the cabs to various addresses and the usual dispatch chatter was going on. Suddenly, the dispatcher asked? ... Michael Hunt, are you out there... Mike? Do you read me? ... Mike Hunt, Mike Hunt... Come in.... Come In... Come in Mike Hunt.

I don't know why this is so funny to me- it was just a cab ride.

I couldn't stop laughing.

it is a vocalisation of a drum / trumpet "roll" (don't know proper word) from musichall days where punchlines in magic tricks were enhanced with rolls from the orchestra (drum and trumpet)

i think its like Ta-da! so it might be like and exclamtion of like wow! look at this! or somethinng.
