not much. i just sit there and feel depressed. if i can sleep, i do that.
here's my current advice. it should alleviate some of your problem and eliminate some possible causes. never stop researching.
anyone who is depressive should take a good multivitamin most days with a meal. while you are at it take a calcium-magnesium-zinc pill, unless by some miracle you get enough calcium. (or you take a calcium-based antacid) also, get lots of beneficial fatty acids - particularly omega-3. take a couple grams of fish oil daily if you can't find enough dietary sources!
then try getting lots of sunlight. get some vigorous cardiovascular exercise as often as you can. practise good posture and learn a little about basic yoga postures and t'ai chi warmups. posture has a large impact on your sense of well-being. always work to expand your approach to and understanding of fitness. core strength is crucial.
eat a varied very high protein, high fiber diet low in saturated fats and refined carbs. shun additives and preservatives. you want fresh whole foods, not overcooked. eat leafy greens and colourful vegetables. eat tree nuts, eat fish, eat more fish, the more nutritious fruits (berries, etc.), herbs, legumes, and some grains. don't eat sweets or drink sweet/sour drinks. instead eat fruit. diet really really really matters. it has a slow cumulative effect. I know these diet changes can be inconvenient and costly. However, because the alternative occasionally involves hospitalization, and because the overall quality of your life will improve on this diet, I believe it is necessary.
stay hydrated. this can be a matter of simply avoiding certain foods that dehydrate you.
that's all that comes to mind. If you use caffeine, try 3 weeks off. If that's no good, consider optimal dosage and timing relative to work/sleep. you may wanna check if you notice any effect from ginseng pills.

Life is a disorderly journey. You don't always get where you want to go or find what you're looking for. But if you stay open to the new and the unexpected, you may yet stumble upon other precious finds. Life, indeed, can be an exhilarating voyage of discovery.
However, not everyone who stumbles upon a potential discovery is able to get something from it. Many pick themselves up and walk away. Some people dread an afternoon with absolutely nothing to do. They find the dullness hard to stand. Yet in such a time something can turn up, without one looking for it. All it requires is certain openness to chance and a willingness to make a turn.

Spend time with someone you are comfortable with, like a close friend or family member or kids. You may not even have to talk about it, just spend time.
If not then there are many other things you can do like:
Go out have a walk or jog, or Pray, or may be Cry (Crying is not recommended), or
Just go to your PC and Answer a few questions on Yahoo!!! Like I am doin now !!! (Highly recommended)

I think back on all the Lord has done in my life and how He always saves me from every bad situation I've ever been in. And I remember the scripture that says, "God works ALL things for good to those who love Him," and I believe that so I never get depressed.

I go skydiving! I also go skydiving when I'm not depressed.
Today it is only going to be 40 degrees outside and I'm still going skydiving. So stop being depressed and take up skydiving!
