Dictators are never 'good'. He was very 'effective' in controlling Iraq.
No, not all Muslim people are the same, just as not all Christians are the same.
I think the Prophet Muhammad was a good man with a kind heart.

Is there such a thing as a good Dictator I don't think so. I don't think someone can have that much power and be a good leader.
Muslim people are clearly not all the same. However more Muslims who are not part of the extremist factions are gpoing to need to stop turning a blind eye to their activities and start reporting them if they are to be respected within western societies. I don't believe it acceptable to move to another country and not expect some aspects of your culture to adapt. I wouldn't do it frankly it's disrespectful.
The prophet mohammed mmm another self proclaimed prophet maybe he is maybe he isn't. One thing I can say a lot of people wouldn't of died if he'd of kept his mouth shut.

Iraq didn't have as many craziness taking place then as they do now. So much for Bush championing freedom and justice. All that he has now is a mess he can't clean up. So yeah. Saddam may not be the nicest kid around, but he could control them.
All muslims are not the same. It's something called individualism and differences in culture. I don't know. You might want to check it out.

I really dont understand why are you comparing Mohammad with Saddam. Saddam just was an evil, and it doesn't relate to his religion or sg else, just his nature! I'm from Iran and i just remember 8 years war with Iraq, such terrible days and night he created for us, he wasted my childhood life (and my fellows) by air attacks and bombards. 1 million Iranian killed just because of his dirty ambitions. and i dont know if there was a good dictator ever.
and prophet Mohammad, why are people trying to connect wars to Islam and Mohammad? Hitler is the worst ever, but should we say that he was so because of his religion?

only a person like Saddam can rule a country like Iraq.He could have concentrated on welfare measures to kurdish,shias and sunnis.His war with Iran and his occupation of Kuwait were mistakes .well, rulers like Hitler& Nappoleon also did mistakes.
Now, saddam cannot be in power.He is old and a prisoner facing court martial.Neither Bush nor his puppets can rule Iraq.If a person like Kamal Ataturk is blessed to rule Iraq, that will be the good day for those people.
Muslims follow customs that were 2000 years old.It is high time they change and adopt neo- islam.
Prophet Mohamed was just like any other selfclaimed individual like Buddha,Mahavir jain,Jesus,& Sankara.

Saddam was a murderous thug, and it was good that he was removed from a position where he could kill as he wished.
There are so many different ethnic and sectarian groups within Islam that it is impossible for all Muslims to "be the same"
Muhammad was certainly a great military leader, and unusual for such, was an able theologian and philosopher.

I don't know about the prophet Muhammad.
I know that not all Muslim people are the same, just like all Christians aren't the same.
But I do know Saddam was bad, he was killing Iraqis. my opinion on the war and our involvement has nothing to do with my opinion that Saddam was bad.
