The mouse was kept in the pocket of my laptop bag for a while. When I took it out , I found the rubberized top has become sticky.

You could contact sony or one to see if they will replace that mouse, or I would try to clean the mouse it will be hard do not get the mouse to wet.

You can try cleaning the entire thing with rubbing alcohol. That should take the stikyness away.
