i personally sided with Zidane and i hated materazzi ever since... he didnt show any respect at all to the Legend (zidane) and he insulted his sister and mother 3 times!!! not once! but 3 times...what is ur opinion!?

Yep, of course I sided with the legend, I figure that if the rat that is MateRATzi didn't respect Zizou then he doesn't deserve my respect. Rat is too nice a word for him, it should be Transfat, that crap is categorized the same as rat excrements.

Materazzi was wrong for sure he shouldnt do that but what Zidane did was very stupid. He is soccer player and he knows that this kind of insults happen in football match all the time.Are you saying that all the players should head butt like what Zidane did ?
It wasn't a regular match it was the WC final Zidane should ve reacted differently.
I'm an Italian fan but I think they both were wrong so I'm not going to be with anyone.

ok listen buddy its very common for MEN to talk trash to each other while playing sports and if that sissy Zidane cant take it he should get off the field. Materazzi didn't do anything wrong and didn't deserve to get headbutted by that crack pot. Even if zidane was insulted by what he said he didn't have to act so imature and violently there are little kids who look up to him so if anyone wasn't showing respect it was zidane not materazzi -

I complately agree with you. I like the Italian players and the team xcept for materazzi. I dislike him deeply. The only person worse than him in football is C.Ronaldo. ZIDANE IS A LEGEND!!!

Well first I sided Matterezii ofcourse!
Than after a while ppl were saying alot
of words what Matterazii said to Zidane!
So yea i kinda blame Materazii 4 it
But till now I still dunno the truth what the hell materazzi said
to Zidane.

i side wth zidane, coz i have seen many dirty videos of materazzi, and he always makes fouls and causes one problem or the other! but i think materazzi is not that bad he is a good player, a player to be watched, but i don't like him when he loses temper

well, i like both of them as great football players,
but remembered what happen at that moment...i should satand with Zizou,
i mean come on...no matter what Materazzi said, the situation told you more than words..
Let see...it was final of World Cup
it was last performance of Zizou
that moment France was lose the goal...
So
I thought Zizou (or any other player...) would never ever did the act if what he heards weren't something that so bad...
Zizou gambled on too many things by did that...

Who cares which side anyones on, Italy won the game and thats what mattered. It was the greatest physche job in the history of sport, right or wrong. The guy let something personal effect his game and effect his team. Yes it was messed up what the guy said, but there dumb jocks anyways.
