Get this...!
My husband is Jewish. You wouldn't think that he'd be interested in Christmas trees, but he is; he loves them!
In fact, when his late wife was still alive, one year they put up the Christmas tree and liked it so well they left it up...for 12 years straight!

I placed my christmas tree up yesterday (sat 2nd). I decided to after constant nagging from my two children, obviously they had seen the neighbour opposite sticking up a neon sign on the front of their house.
I was glad i did decide to put the tree up early now, as my fairy lights were broken. I could quickly nip down the shops to get a new pack, without worrying about the late christmas shop queues.

Yes it flippin is! Put up some lights and a garland on the door, but leave the tree till at least a week before, that way you won't get bored of it - and the cat will have less time to take it down for you!

My wife puts our tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving every year. I put up the lights on the house. We're set.
