mine sometimes does this, i just turn off for couple mins, put back on then all is usually fine. Make sure you virus and spyware scan regular (once a month) and also defrag and disc clean to keep your system running smooth. Check your cpu to see how many processors you have running on start up if using 100% that will slow you right down and cause probs
incase you dont know disc clean and defrag are on start, all programmes, accecories, system tools. You can check how many processors are running on start up by pressing ctrl,alt&delete

101 things could be causing your PC problems when starting up. I suggest you start up in Safe Mode then run Dr Watson for a diagnosis of what is happening. When you get this report you may want to come back to this forum for additional help.

if the computer is new there a causes like hardware problems. XP has it own fire wall so you should be safe from trojans or virus's

you're in all probability working too many programmes or you have little no longer ordinary force area left. do away with the dross. Defragment and bypass to: procedures: internet techniques: delete cookies: delete information incorporate delete all offline content textile: sparkling background. bypass by all your information in upload/eliminate programmes and sell off the garbage.

frst off my name is aaron d but any way to your problam if you have any improperly installed drivers it could cause that or sudden restarting

or you could have faulty ram or you cpu could be overheating




how to solv if it is a faulty driver format

if its the cpu upgrade mouther board and cpu/buy a knew machien

or clean off the heat sink and the ram stick



also windows could have been instaled improperly

i have a usb keyboard that isn,t reconnized on start up ,and cause a stall, the fix is to go into bios and click[quit start up on no errors] the outher options are key board/mouse failure

If You are suspecting on hardware problem it may be one of these bad RAM, bad power supply or CPU is overheating.
