If it is 9am Eastern time / 8 am Central it is 2 pm GMT (14 hours)

If it is 9pm Eastern time / 8 pm Central it is 2 am GMT (02 hours the next day).

Time Zone difference: GMT / EST +5 hours; GMT / CST +6 hours

GMT - Greenwich Mean Time... this is so called "coordinated universal time". It is based on the time in Greenwich, England which is part of the Western Europe time-zone. This would mean that a show that's on at 9/8c (9pm EST - which includes New York City) would be on at 2am GMT.

Greenwich Mean Time - You have to do the math from your own time zone to the time it is in Greenwich, England

if a show is on at 9pm on the east coast, and 8pm central, then it would be 7pm mountain time and 6pm pacific (west coast).
