You are dead right, its about time referees started to do the job properly. e/g If a player goes down and rolls about in agony he should be stretchered off, if he then jumps up and starts running around he should be sent off. Players should be given a yellow card for bringing the game into disrepute i/e spitting or swearing. Its time Managers told players to behave like sportsmen and fine players for such offences. Players don't seem to realise they are today's roll modals for the young and should act accordingly. I would support your campaign and boycott football for one Saturday, but I think we would be in a minority. As for money, that is the biggest single factor that has ruined the so called beautiful game.

Hi Gary

Good points... I totally agree that alot of these so called "professional" footballers are over paid, over rated & big headed. You do not hear too much clatter about other sporting figures. One cannot even say this type of behaviour is down to the working class up-bringing as the sport is now no longer a working class game in the sense of audience nor particpants.

I think there should be a salary cap - this would stop alot of the arrogant behaviour as the fines will hit them hard + it would stop alot of the foreign merchanies coming to play in the premiership, starving our game of up & coming home grown talent.

Anyway - the lowest lifeform has to be a Birmingham City fan... Villa$Ever

I disagree with you there, I think the Australian Rugby League player Willie Mason is the lowest lifeform, he punched Great Britain Rugby League player Stuart Fielden in the nose and knocked Sean Long who also plays for Great Britain out for the count! He didn't even get sent off for that!

Christiano Ronaldo fits all of the above criteria.

The high influx of foriegn players has done the game no favours, you can't even put a good hard tackle in nowadays.
I can feel my blood starting to boil so i'll leave it there.

p.s. I agree with the boycott....

Lowest life-form - any player in a Man U shirt. Worst of the worst - lowest of the low.

It is not a game, anymore, and those of you who think it is, open your eyes. You are being conned. Football is a business masquerading as a sport, taking the money out of your pocket.
Where is the sport,? hooligans, wire fences, police presence.
When I was a kid we had heros, what have we got now.?
